General Rules
Welcome to Historic Lions Park, home of the Sweet Corn Festival. To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for our guests, please respect the following rules:
a. We reserve the right not to allow any bag, parcel or other item to be brought into the park and to deal with any unattended object in such a way as we consider appropriate.
b. Please show common courtesy to fellow guests by not using profanity or engaging in unsafe, illegal, disruptive or offensive behavior. For your safety and the safety of others, please refrain from running.
c. For the comfort of all guests, smoking of tobacco, e-cigarettes or other products that produce a vapor or smoke are not allowed in any building.
d. Access to amusement rides, attractions and competitions depends upon the safety rules of each area.
Prohibited Items
The following items may not be brought into the park.
a. Alcoholic beverages or any illegal substance.
b. Weapons of any kind or objects that appear to be weapons (firearms, knives, slingshots, etc.).
c. Motorbikes, all terrain vehicles, hover broards, scooters, snowmobiles, bicycles, etc.
d. Fireworks, missile-like objects, flammable lanterns, etc.
e. Grills or cooking devicies (only contracted concessionaires area allowed to use on site).
f. Luggages, coolers (only contracted concessionaires are allowed to use), duffel bags or backpacks larger than 16″ x 16″ x 8″.
g. Noise makers, airhorns, megaphones, laser pointers, mace or pepper spray, etc.
h. Glass Containers, beach lounges, tents or awnings.
i. For Safety & Liability Reasons, Pets, Therapy & Emotional Support Animals are not permitted on the festival grounds.
j. Other items that we determine may be harmful or disruptive.
Prohibited Activities
The following activities are not allows:
a. Overnight parking of vehicles unless approved by Festival Security.
b. Tailgating or private parties unless held within a banquet facility, shelter house or RV that has been approved for such activity by Festival Management.
c. Political campaigning/soliciting; chanting or shouting words associated with commercial advertising; unauthorized handbills, business cards, give-aways, etc.; unauthorized promotional items with commercial slogans.
d. Driving golf cars and special utility vehicles without an authorized access pass.
e. Unauthorized product sampling activities.
f. Unauthorized lottery or raffle tickets.
g. Use of unmanned aircraft systems.
h. Umbrellas, laser pointers, video cameras or recording devices at all concert venues.
i. Photography, videotapping or recording of any kind for commercial purposes.
j. Engaging in any unsafe act or other act that may impede the operation of the festival.
Public Notice
a. We may photograph, film, videotape, record or otherwise reproduce the image and/or voice of any person who enters Historic Lions Park.>/span>
b. Park rules are subject to change without notice.
